Jessie D. Vaughn

Mr. Jessie D. Vaughn, age 75, a resident of Neely Hollow Road, passed away on Monday, December 11 at Rosewood Manor.
Funeral services for Mr. Vaughn will be conducted Thursday at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Eric Sandusky officiating.
The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 4:00 ? 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
The Lewis County native was the son of the late Jesse and Miriam Corley Vaughn. He was the husband of Lona Hellen Sutton Vaughn who survives. He was retired from Columbia Construction and later started Vaughn?s General Services. He was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors in addition to his wife include one daughter: Mikki Paul Breeden of Columbia; two sons: J. Danny Vaughn, Jr., of Lynnville and Jerry Beverly Vaughn of Columbia; one brother: Raymon Vaughn of Columbia; one sister: Naomi Pope of Culleoka; six grandchildren: Melanie Breeden of Columbia, Jason Breeden of Ethridge, Jeremy Vaughn of St. Louis, MO, Daniel Vaughn of Pulaski, Kayla Vaughn of Columbia and Brandon Vaughn of Columbia. He was preceded in death by one son: Paul A. Vaughn and one sister, Catherine Edmiston.
