Mr. Jessie Calvin Corter, age 81, a resident of Valley View Road in Ashland City, TN, passed away on Sunday, September 27 at his residence.
Graveside services for Mr. Corter will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Summertown Cemetery with Bro. Odell Spears officiating.
The family will visit with friends on Tuesday from 12:30 to 1:30 P.M. at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant.
Born January 12, 1928 in Giles County, he was the son of the late William Thomas and Beulah Reynolds Corter. He was a veteran of the US Air Force.
He is survived by his sisters: Nellie Anders of Birmingham, AL, Christine Pierce of Summertown, Dorothy Glass of Madison and Letha Brock of Ashland City; brothers: Robert Vera Corter of La Vergne, Harold Corter of Summertown and Frank Vickie Corter of Panama. He was preceded in death by 3 siblings.
Pallbearers will be his nephews.
