Jerry Wayne Pipkin, Jr., was born September 5, 1971 in Marshall County, the son of Jerry Wayne Pipkin, Sr., of Williamsport and the late Lillian "Tinky" Hughes Bennett. Jerry Wayne was the husband of Jessica Woodard Pipkin of Lynnville, whom he married on July 12, 2002. He was an installation technician with DirecTV and a member of Grace Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors in addition to his wife and father include his children: Lindzi Pipkin of Culleoka, Emma Pipkin of Lynnville, Dayton Rudd of Lynnville and Kolbe McMahon of Cornersville; sisters: Tonya Sean Barnett of Spring Hill and Neva Pipkin of Columbia; brother, Jerry Lee Tara Webb of Hampshire; step-sister, Tammy Johnson of Columbia; grandmother, Mildred Hughes of Spring Hill along with several nieces and nephews.
Jerry Wayne passed away on Saturday, October 15, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Funeral services for Jerry Wayne will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Gene Shelton and Rev. Mark Lindstrom officiating. Burial will follow in the Buford Cemetery in Spring Hill.
The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 4:00 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Clay Pipkin, Jerry Lee Webb, Chad Helton, Jeremy Woodard, Roger Smith, Sean Barnett, Matthew Campbell and Richard Burke. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Hughes, Kenneth Hughes, Kenny Lovell, Gregory "Homer" Bolton, Wayne Stinnett, Derek Garret, Cory Beaver, Terry Greene, Jeremy Beaver, Wesley Johnson and Troy Wolfe.
