Jerry Allen

Jerry Allen of the Mt Joy community passed away on January 11, 2024.

Jerry was born on July 8, 1935, in Maury County and the son of the late Harvey Allen and the late Tempie Rochelle Allen. He is survived by his children Dianne (William) Dunnebacke, Judy (Steve) Wade, Michael (Cheryl) Allen, grandchildren, Emily (Jonathan) Wright, Timothy (Laura) Wade, Tyler (Paige) Allen, Hannah (Jeremiah) Bishop, Will Dunnebacke, great grandchildren, Colton Wade, Emerson Wright, Sadie Wade, Abigail Wright, Simon Wade, Oakley Allen, brother Steve Allen, special friends Annie Hinson, Phyllis Hinson, several nieces and nephews.

Jerry was a faithful member of Allensville Baptist Church. He loved to spend time with his family, fishing and raising a garden.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Allen, brothers, Harry, Jimmy, Allison Allen and sister, Nancy Allen.

The family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home at Mount Pleasant, Tennessee on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee with Kelley Harris officiating. Jerry will be laid to rest at Polk Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be William Dunnebacke, Steve Wade, Timothy Wade, Tyler Allen, Will Dunnebacke and Jonathan Wright.

Honorary pallbearers Johnny Boshers and Charlie Ray Howell.
