Jenny Wiseman

Mrs. Dewey Jemima "Jenny" Houston Wiseman, 82, died Thursday, June 19, 2003 at her residence on North Main Street in Mt. Pleasant.
Funeral services for Mrs. Wiseman will be conducted Saturday, June 21, 2003, at 4:30 p.m. at the Williams Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home with Reverend Phillip Wright officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Van Leer, Tennessee native was the daughter of the late Dewey and Lovey Davis Houston and the widow of Joseph "Joe" Wiseman who died in April of this year. Mrs. Wiseman was a homemaker and a loving mother, in addition to these she was an avid gardner, wonderful cook, excelled in knitting and quilting and was a very proud fisherman.
She is survived by four daughters, Mary Bob Wren of Mt. Pleasant, Alice Frank Hiney of Germantown, Ohio, Sylvia Harrod Bergmann of Marquand, MO., and Brenda Wayne Cochran of Cumming, GA; a son, Zane Beverly Davis of Brentwood, TN; one sister, Carrie Lavergne Morgan of Dickson, TN; one brother, Bill Houston of Charlotte, TN; 18 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Wiseman is preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Esta Davis; a grandson, Russell Christopher; one sister, Mary Lee, and three brothers, Buddy Paul, Bobby and Ross Houston.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Joe Wren, Perry Hall, Jerry Bytwerk and Darrell McCray.
