Jennie Mae Mcgee Flynt

July 7, 1929 — October 17, 2005

Mrs. Jennie Mae McGee Flynt, 76, widow of James Roy Flynt, Jr. and a resident of Flynt Road near Mt. Pleasant, died Monday, October 17, 2005 at Life Care Center.

Funeral services for Mrs. Flynt will be conducted Thursday, October 20, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Reverend Dwight Liles officiating. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Giles County native was the daughter of the late Clarence and Flaurice Shelby McGee and widow of James Roy Flynt, Jr. who died in 1998.
Mrs. Flynt was a member of the Mt. Joy Quilters Group and Home Demonstration Club. She was a homemaker and member of the Mt. Joy Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her children, Wanda James White of Columbia, TN and Mike Mirinda Flynt of Mt. Pleasant, TN; a sister, Connie Morris of Columbia, TN; a brother, Tommy Sue McGee of Mt. Pleasant, TN; four grandchildren, Jenna White and Juliana White both of Columbia, TN, Mallory Flynt and Wesley Flynt both of Mt. Pleasant, TN; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence E. McGee, Jr. and James Alfred McGee.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy McGee, Jeff McGee, James McGee, Matthew Morris and James White.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Ben Gardner, Dr. Diana Talpos-Reed, staff of Life Care Center and members of the Mt. Joy Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
