Jeffery "Bones" Scott Ingram

November 4, 1956 — March 8, 2014

A Husband, Father, Brother and Son, Jeffery Scott Ingram, age 57 of Culleoka, won his battle with cancer March 8, 2014 at NHC Hillview surrounded by his family and friends.

Jeff, also known as “Bones”, was born November 4, 1956 in Columbia, Tennessee to Tony and Eva Graves Ingram. He was a graduate of Central High School and described as an excellent athlete. Jeff married his soulmate, Connie Scroggins Ingram, on June 17, 1978 at First Baptist Church in Columbia.

Jeff’s life was an illustration of deep faith, personal integrity, compassion and desire to do the right thing. The impact he leaves on his family and friends over a lifetime will never fade in his passing. Mr. Ingram will be fondly remembered and sadly missed as a powerful musician, athlete, and a true cowboy. He strummed to his own beat and lassoed his dreams.

Jeff and his father began a construction company, Ingram and Ingram in which he worked from 1979 to 1992. He began working at Nissan in 1994, from where he retired in 2004.

In addition to his wife Connie of 35 years, his most honorable title was “Dad” to the greatest joy in his world, Bailey Ingram. His sister and her husband, Tracie and Mike Dickey, his niece, Caroline Dickey, and his nephew, John Dickey, also survive Jeff.

Following Jeff’s wishes, the family invites his extended family and friends to visit in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia from 12-2:00 PM on March 12, 2014. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM, also in the Chapel. The inurnment will follow at Friendship Cemetery in Culleoka.
