Mrs. Lirlie Imogene "Jean" Cupples Stallings, age 81, of Franklin, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at NHC Franklin.
Jean was born on November 28, 1934 to William E. Cupples and Modeacy "Ma" Thomas Cupples in Henderson, Tennessee. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Jean was of the Baptist faith. In addition to being a homemaker she also managed an ice cream shop.
Ms. Jean is survived by her loving son: Gary (Cherry) Pickett of Lebanon; grandchildren: Erin (Steve) Beck, Trent (Jennifer) Pickett, Brock (Jennifer) Pickett, Jeremy Stallings and Jamie Stallings; great-grandchildren: Duke, Ruby, Penny, Annie and Cherry; and her sister: Virginia "Sue" Strong. She was preceded in death by her parents: William and Modeacy Cupples; and siblings: Earl Cupples, Melvin Cupples and Lulene Patterson.

The family will visit with friends in celebration of Jean's life on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia.
