Mrs. Ima Evajean ?Jean? Bass Pugh, age 76, a resident of Old Jackson Highway in Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Friday, December 7, at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mrs. Pugh will be conducted Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Reverend Howard Kitter officiating. Graveside service will follow Tuesday at 2:30 P.M. at the New Salem Cemetery in Limestone County, AL in the Salem Community.
The Family will visit with friends Sunday from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. and Monday from 3:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Davidson County native was the daughter of the late Samuel Austin Bass and Ima Cook Bass. She was the widow of Charles Roe ?Joe? Pugh. She was a graduate of Hay Long High School. Mrs. Pugh was a very dedicated wife, mother and grandmother and an avid gardner. She attended Southside Baptist in Mt. Pleasant.
She is survived by children: Mai Kathleen ?Cathy? Culver of Smyrna, TN, Linda S. Chapman of Columbia, TN, JoAnn Stanley Wade Attkisson of Mt. Pleasant, Donna Denise Smith of Mt. Pleasant, TN, Jean Marie Billy Manier of Columbia, TN; one sister: Peggy Marie Thomas of Donelson, TN; grandchildren, Marcia Liles Whiteside, Tracy Wayne King, Christopher Attkisson, Brian Culver, Stacy Attkisson, Joey Manier, Rodney Benderman, Jamie Smith, Bridget Manier, Lance Smith, Brittany Benderman, Sanders Bo Madewell, Stanley Attkisson and Ben Attkisson; several great-grandchildren; five nephews, Gary Hayes, Terrell Hayes, Larry Hayes, Kendall Hayes and Jeffrey Hayes.
She was preceded in death by a son, Prentice Wayne King; one son-in law, David Porter Culver, the childrens? father, Joe Morris King, and Luke Hinson.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.
