Janice Smith

Janice Smith, passed away on January 30, 2022. She was born February 25, 1957, to Mary McKinney Knolton and the late Robert Dial.
Janice was known to have a green thumb, she loved gardening and flowers. She loved being outdoors. She enjoyed watching Tennessee Football and the Titans. Above all else she loved her grandkids and spending time with them.
She is survived by her husband: Douglas Smith; sons: Brian Smith, Andrew Smith; daughter: Bonnie Dean (Jacob); grandchildren: Jayden Dean and Madison Dean; mother:Mary Nell Knolton; sister: Connie Dick.
She is preceded in death by her father and her baby Holly.
Janice’s family will be receiving friends and family on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday, February 3, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. services will follow beginning at 1:00 p.m. with Jeremey Butt officiating. She will be laid to rest at Polk Memorial Gardens.
