Mrs. Janet Lynn Wheaton Kreager, 48, a resident of Black Oak Trail in Spring Hill, died Tuesday, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.
Funeral services for Mrs. Kreager will be conducted Saturday, August 30, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Catherine Catholic Church. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Williams Columbia Funeral Home.
Born in Appleton, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of Douglas Wheaton, Sr. and Dolores A. Kieffer and wife of Joseph Kreager. She was a Registered Nurse, Social worker and housewife. She was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by three sons, Staff Sergeant Bill Reynolds of Ft. Leavenworth, Kan., Brian Brandy Crowe of Columbia, and Joseph Rhonda Kreager of Albany, Ind; two daughters, Christy David Estes of Columbia and Franklin City Patrol Officer Tami Crowe of Columbia; six grandchildren, Tara Crowe and Jacob Estes, both of Columbia, Savannah Kreager and Taylor Kreager, both of Albany, Ind., Bradley Kelley and Samantha Kelley, both of Farmland, Ind.; two brothers, Douglas Wheaton, Jr. of Springfield, Tn. and Mark S. Wheaton of Anchorage, Alaska; two sisters, Gale A. Wheaton of Columbia and Barbara C. Fankhouser of Branson, Fla.; several nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bob McAuther, Casey Powers, Dr. Rand Hayes, Cory Kurtzhall, Teresa Lannon and to all of those whom she touched with her heart and soul.
