Jamie Neeley

Mr. James Howard "Jamie" Neeley, 30, a resident of Sheddan Drive, died Friday, February 21, 2003 from injuries received in an automobile accident on Iron Bridge Road.

Funeral services for Mr. Neeley will be conducted Tuesday, February 25, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 5:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was the son of Mary Dodson Neeley Martin and the late William "Butch" Neeley. He was a mechanic for Stoney's Auto Salvage and Wrecker Service. He was a former employee of Turner and Osborne Tire Company and Tennessee Auto Mart. He was an avid drag racer and mechanic and a member of the Hampshire Baptist Church.

In addition to his mother and step-father David Martin, he is survived by two sons, Christopher Todd Neeley and William Chase Neeley of Columbia; one sister, Tammi Tommy McCall of Columbia; two half-brothers, Morris Allen Neeley and Jonathan Paul Neeley of Mt. Pleasant; two nieces, Neeley McCall and Kelley McCall both of Columbia; a nephew, Will McCall of Columbia; a nephew, Gregory Fuller of Mt. Pleasant and several other nieces and nephews; one step-sister, Jamie Tabitha Martin of Lebanon; one step-brother, Zach Martin of Cleveland, Tn.; Maternal Grandmother, Sarah Dodson Parker of Columbia; Paternal Grandmother Ruth Murray Neeley of Mt. Pleasant; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Active pallbearers will be Harold Brunson, Ed Brooks, Michael Workman, Derek Powell, Larry Luttrell, Richie Seagraves, Joey Hay and James Zachary.

Honorary pallbearers will be Derek Pugh, Levi Pugh, Buddy Dodson, Benny Patterson, Buddy Reese, Johnny Reese, Eric Chappell, Larry Rummage, Charles Cherry, Heath McKnight, Roger Gilliam, all his racing friends, and all employees of Stoney's Auto Salvage, Turner and Osborne Tire Company and Tennessee Auto Mart.
