James A. "Jim" McHenry, 81, passed away on July 16, 2009 in Prescott, Arizona.
A memorial service for Jim will be held Friday at 7:00 pm at the Shepard of the Hills Church in Phoenix, AZ.
Born June 30, 1928 in Tucson, AZ, Jim was the son of the late Albert and Mabel McHenry and the husband of the late Louise McHenry. He was a graduate from the University of Arizona with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and retired from Motorola in the Government Electronics Division. Jim proudly served in the US Army with the 7th Armored Tank Calvary Division. Jim was also involved with the Boy Scouts of America as an assistant scout master, when his sons were in the scouting program. Jim had a passion for flying and loved being in the clouds flying here and there for breakfast or coffee.
He is survived by his sons, Robert Susan of Columbia and Steven Laura of Albuquerque, NM; sister: Sally Mier of Ohio; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
