James Wade Thomason, age 65, a long time resident of Summertown, TN, passed away March 15, 2012 at Crocket Hospital.
James was born January 3, 1947 in Summertown, TN to the late Adam "A.E" and Gracie Thomason. James served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked many years in Mt. Pleasant managing different stores such as AutoZone.
James is survived by two sons: Darryl Debbie Thomason and Dennis Anna Thomason; Three granddaughters: Anna, Beth, and Molly Kate Thomason; Two sisters: Carolyn Sue Thomason and Thelia Thomason all of Lawrenceburg, TN.
Funeral services will be held at 4 pm, Sunday, March 18, 2012 at Williams Funeral Home. Colby McAnally will be officiating the service. Friends may gather from 1-4pm, Sunday, March 18, 2012 at Williams Funeral Home. Military honors will be provided by the Herbert Griffin American Legion Post #19.
In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made to David Crocket Elementary Library, Ethridge Elementary Library or The Lawrence County High School Library. Williams Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.williamsfh.com .
