Mr. James Thomas "Jim" Andrews, 44, a resident of Highway 166, North in the Hampshire Community, died Tuesday, September 10, 2002 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
A memorial service for Mr. Andrews will be conducted Thursday, September 12, 2002 at 3:00 P.M. at the Williams Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home with Johnny Parrish officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Polk Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Altus, Oklahoma native was the son of Thomas H. and Edith Decker Andrews of the Hampshire Community. He was a former long-time resident of Orange County, California. He was in Food Service Management in which he managed several of the Kentucky Fried Chicken and Taco Bell restaurants in the area. He was a member of the Church of Christ and served in the U.S. Air Force.
In addition to his parents he is survived by three sisters, Linda Singh, Cathy Robert Voorhees, and Debbie Moore all of Mt. Pleasant; four nieces, Heidi Hughes and Nicole Webb both of Mt. Pleasant, Heather Voorhees of Hampshire, and Teresa Meza of Colorado Springs, CO; three nephews, Thomas Vaughn and Forrest Voorhees both of Mt. Pleasant, and David Cox of Chapel Hill; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
