James Hunt

James Hunt, age 82, resident of Countryside Nursing Home in Lawrenceburg, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2011 in Lawrenceburg.
James was born on May 30, 1929 in Lawrence County and the son of the late John Wright and Flora Adabelle Rubart Hunt. James was a farmer for several people over his lifetime. He was a very good hearted man and was loved by everyone that knew him. James was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Summertown.
James is survived by a brother, Alonzia John Hunt of Columbia; two sisters, Emma K. Wardell Anderson and Sarah L. Clyde Quirk both of the Theta Community. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by a sister, Glenda Faye Laws and two brothers, Mannie Lewis Hunt and Russell Shannon Hunt.
Funeral services for Mr. Hunt will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. on Monday, June 6, 2011 in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Bro. Vince Greer officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Garden Cemetery in Summertown.
The Hunt Family will receive friends from 5-8 P.M. on Sunday Evening at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Timmy Luther, Billy Green, Tim Richter, Wardell Anderson, Matthew Helmick and Clyde Quirk.
