James Logan Hedrick Jr.

James Logan Hedrick, Jr., age 77, resident of Life Care Center of Columbia, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

James was born on July 16, 1938 to the late James Hedrick Sr. and Pauline Estes Hedrick in Maury County, Tennessee. James worked as a self-employed plumber and electrician. He enjoyed playing cards, singing, dancing, and American History. He was of the Christian faith. James was a very loving father.

The family will visit with friends on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant and from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 8, 2015 prior to the funeral service. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Larry Fralix officiating. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens with military honors.

James is survived by his children Ricky (Becky) Hedrick of Spring Hill, Tennessee, Tricia Diane (Troy) Kelly of Spring Hill, Tennessee, Debbie Mealer of Columbia, Tennessee, Michael Hedrick of Columbia, Tennessee, Emily Hedrick of Columbia, Tennessee, and Austin (Casey) Hedrick of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee; mother of Ricky, Tricia, Debbie, Randy, and Michael, Marge Faye Estes of Columbia, Tennessee; mother of Austin and Emily, Janice Faye Hedrick of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee; grandchildren Beverly, Bobby Jo, Sarah, Deborah, Tammy, Alden, Drew, Kendra, Brandon, Brittany, Justin, Kaylee, Allison, and Bryson; and siblings Arveda Baker, Larry Hedrick, and Roger Hedrick.

James was preceded in death by his son Randy Hedrick, brother Wendell Hedrick, and his parents James and Pauline Hedrick Sr.

Pallbearers will be Austin Hedrick, Michael Hedrick, Brandon Mealer, Justin Hedrick, Troy Kelly, and Larry Fralix.
