James Hathcock

James Hathcock, age 75, of Mt. Pleasant, TN, passed away peacefully at home on October 31, 2023.

James was born in Rome, GA, on November 6, 1947, he was a Vietnam veteran. He received many medals including the purple heart.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Hathcock and Katherine Hathcock. 

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sandra Hatchcock.  Other survivors include his sisters, Rosa Creasman, Sue (Buzzy) Mueller; brothers, Bo Hatchcock, Curtis Hatchcock.  Niece Sissy (Greg) Reshman.  A special sister-in-law, Pam Fuller. Great-niece, Hannah, great-nephew Ben.  Nephew Barry Gilbert, Mike Gilbert, Pokey Hatchcock, James Hatchcock. Niece, Sarah Childers, nephew Ray Hathcock Son, Frankie (Connie) Wood, Johnny McCulloch.  Grandchildren Joey (Valerie) Wood, Tonya (Wesley) Dye, Shane (Cortney) Wood; great grandchildren, Gavin Aker, Aubrey Aker, Xavier Wood, Katelyn Wood, Eli Wood, Cody Dye, Maddie Wood, Kristan Flannigan, Katlin Kelley, Brandon Kelly, Tyler Ballard, Nicholas Ballard, Trinity Tanner and Timmy Tanner.  Grandchildren, Jayme Tanner and Cody Wesson and special friends: Frank Martin and Tim Tanner.

A service for James will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee with Greg Russell officiating.
