James Harold Bailey

May 9, 1938 — June 13, 2002

Mr. James Harold Bailey, 64, a resident of the Greens Mill Road at Spring Hill, died Thursday, June 13, 2002 at Maury Regional Hospital.

Funeral services for Mr. Bailey will be conducted Saturday, June 15, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. at the Williams Columbia Funeral Home. Burial will be the Spring Hill Cemetery with military honors being provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post # 19. The family will visit with friends Friday from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was the son of Nina Still Bailey of Spring Hill and the late James Russell Bailey. He was the husband of the late Lillian Deal Bailey. He retired as a control board operator from Occidental Chemical Company. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Spring Hill and served in the U.S. Air Force.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by 3 brothers, Wayne Betty Bailey of the Rally Hill Community, Marvin Sharon Bailey of Columbia, and Joe Cheryl Bailey of Spring Hill; 3 sisters, Linda Bland of Spring Hill, Janice Danny Moser of Columbia, and Debbie Tomlin of Culleoka; 3 step sons, John Ferguson of Columbia, Kevin Ferguson of Fairview, and Tim Ferguson of West Tennessee; 3 step grandchildren, Barry Ferguson of Spring Hill, Kevin Ferguson, Jr. and Jennifer Ferguson of Fairview; 2 step great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be John Ferguson, Barry Ferguson, Kevin Ferguson, Kevin Ferguson, Jr., Chris Bailey, and Brian Bailey. Honorary pallbearers will be past and present employees of Occidental Chemical Company, Dennis Orr, and Bill Orr.
