Mr. James Glennon Taber, 48, formerly of Ft. Worth, Texas and Phoenix, Arizona, died Monday, December 5, 2005 at his residence on New Cut Road in Columbia.
Graveside services for Mr. Taber will be conducted Thursday, December 8, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. at Polk Memorial Gardens with Reverend Joel Emerson officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Tennessee National Guard. Williams Funeral Home in Columbia is in charge of the arrangements.
The Cooke County, Illinois native was the son of Audrey Peach Taber of Columbia, Tennessee and the late Glenn Alfred Taber, Sr. He was a cook and fence builder and was of the Church of God faith.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by three sisters, Jacquelyn Q. Rice of Ft. Worth, TX, Kathleen Coleman of Columbia, TN, and Tracey L. Lavender of Wisconsin; three brothers, Clarence Condor and Glenn A. Taber, Jr. both of Ft. Worth, TX, and John W. Taber of Phoenix, AZ; several nieces and nephews;
a special cousin, Sandra O?Brien of Columbia, TN and a special nephew, Gregory Lindner who is stationed in Maryland serving our country in the United States Army.
