Mr. James Everett "Jamie" Belew, III , 51, a former resident of Stillwood Drive in Nashville died Wednesday, July 10, 2002 in Nashville.
Graveside services for Mr. Belew will be conducted Tuesday, July 16, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at the Arlington Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant with Dr. Truman Brown officiating. Williams Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The Davidson County native was the son of the late James Everett, Jr. and Frances Paulette Jenkins Belew. He was a graduate of John Overton High School in Nashville and Memphis State University and also attended Belmont University. He was a substitute teacher for the Metro School System in Nashville. He was for several years self-employed in the family business of the plastics industry. He attended several churches of Christ in the Nashville area.
He is survived by 3 aunts; Clara Stewart of Lebanon, TN, Faye Carney Patterson of Brentwood, TN, and Cathy Elrod of Brentwood, TN; 2 uncles, Bob Cathey Jenkins of Goodlettsville, TN, and Neil Jenkins of Nashville, TN; 10 cousins. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Robert and Clara Jenkins and paternal grandparents, James Everett and Mattie Bumpus Belew.
