Mr. James E. Richardson, age 70, a resident of Johnson Hill Road in the Sandy Hook community in Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Wednesday, December 5, at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services will be Monday, December 10, at 1:00 P.M. at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in the Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family will visit with friends Monday from 12:00 noon until 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
The Nashville, Tennessee native was the son of Louella Jones Campbell of Detroit, MI and the late, Joe Amos Richardson. He was the husband of Rita Borchert Richardson. He was a Trim Cutter at Ford motor Company for 30 years and a member of UAW Local 400 in Michigan.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his children: Deanna Richardson of Nashville, TN, Michael Richardson of Sterling Heights, MI, Guy Richardson, Dwight Richardson and Janice Richardson all of Detroit; three brothers, Joe Rosetta Richardson of Columbia, TN, Richard Richardson of Louisiana and Michael Sandy Richardson of Kentucky; three sisters, Hattie Chester Flakes of Louisiana, Shirley Frank Robertson of Evanston, IL and Katherine Herbert Treadway of Montgomery, AL.
Pallbearers will be Joe Richardson, Eugene Richardson and Michael Richardson,
Honorary pallbearers will be UAW workers Local 400, Michigan, Dr. Perryman, Mike Borchert, Bill Borchert, Brad Forsythe and Sandy Hook area Community Center
