James Christopher Sprinkle passed away suddenly in his home in Culleoka on Wednesday, October 14, 2009.
Funeral services for Chris will be conducted Monday at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Bewley officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:00 to 8:00 PM and Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
After graduating from Columbia Central High School in 1992, Chris entered the Finance business; after which he became a successful entrepreneur by owning and operating his own business, Maury County?s Rooter Drain and Plumbing. Chris, a child of God, was strong in his Christian faith. A loyal and devoted father, he enjoyed spending time with his children and being outdoors. Devoted to his family, he was the pride and joy of his parents. He will be dearly missed by those who loved him and will be forever remembered by those whose lives he touched. Today he knows no more sorrows as he is cradled in the arms of his Father, and we will see him again in Heaven.
Survivors include his wife: Amy Wray Sprinkle; children: Jacob Colton Sprinkle and Schyler, Lyndsey and Philip Stampfly; mother Tonya R. Sprinkle Greg Andrews, father Stephen M. Sprinkle, grandmothers: Pamela E. Trice maternal and Elizabeth Sprinkle paternal, siblings: Jenny Beth Sprinkle Robert Beets and Chaney Ryan Turnbo, and nephew Parker Beets. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers: James E. Trice maternal and Malcolm E. Sprinkle paternal. He is also survived by a maternal aunt, Kimberly E. Matthew Madden and cousins: Caleb Wright and Katie and Cody Madden. Special loved ones include Samuel Marvin Edwards, Jr., and family.
Pallbearers will be Steve Sprinkle, Greg Andrews, Marvin Edwards, Chaney Turnbo, Matt Madden, Rob Beets, Caleb Wright and Cody Madden. Honorary pallbearers will be Frank Wray, Lance Carpenter, Bodie Whitfield, Renis Baker, Robert Brown, William Bourland, Tristan Whitfield and Jeremy Faulkner.
