James Edward Chapman, age 50, passed away on Monday, March 09, 2015 at his residence in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee after thirty-three years of battling renal failure.
James was born on May 12, 1964 to Henry Leon Chapman and Dora Lee Green Chapman in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. James received his bachelor’s degree and taught elementary school. He also worked at Auto Zone in Lawrenceburg for several years. James married Lisa Clayton and the two shared twenty-seven years together before his passing. James was a member of the Pentecostal faith.
A memorial service to celebrate James’ life will be held at United Church in Lawrenceburg on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 6:15 p.m. with Rev. David Morgan officiating. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service.
James is survived by his loving wife of twenty-seven years Lisa Chapman of Lawrenceburg; twins, son Alex Brandon Chapman of Lawrenceburg and daughter Alicia Breann Chapman of Lawrenceburg; parents Henry and Dora Lee Chapman; sister Brenda (Danny) Burkhalter of New Mexico; brothers Leonard Chapman of Lawrenceburg and Billy (Rose) Chapman of Merdianville, Alabama; and uncle Roger (Sharon) Chapman of Lawrenceburg.
James was preceded in death by his sister Linda Potts of Lawrenceburg.
