Mr. James "Kit" Carson, age 83, resident of Signature Health Care of Columbia, passed away on Thursday, May 8, in Maury Regional Hospital.
No services are scheduled at this time. Williams Funeral Home in Columbia is in charge of arrangements.
The Michigan native was the son of the late George Washington Carson and Gestie Carson. Mr. Carson was a trainer of Tennessee Walking Horse and was an avid Bingo player. Many residents at Signature Health Care enjoyed his friendship and he was a very kind person. One of his favorite pastimes was entering sweepstakes.
