James Lelan Carroll age 78, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at his residence in Columbia.
James was born on December 1, 1938 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late James R. Carroll and Mary Etta King Carroll. He always put his kids first. One of his many hobbies was that he loved to gamble and go to Vegas and to visit different places. He also loved his hot rods and spent any minute he could working on them and just having a passion for cars. He made all sorts of bricks all of his life. James has been married to his wife, Inez for over 50 years.
In addition to his wife, Inez Brenden Carroll, he is survived by his daughters, Renee (Mark) Engel of Columbia and Danielle (Craig) Emory of Kennwick, WA; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; and sisters, Margaret J. (Arthur) Bustemonte and Lydia S. (Brad) Libby.
