James Vernon Brooks, passed away on February 22, 2025 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee.

Vernon was born on January 26, 1932 to the late Joe D. Brooks and Katherine Brooks in Hampshire, Tennessee.

A service for Vernon will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 3, 2025 from 11:00 AM to the start of the service at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee. Vernon will be laid to rest at Polk Memorial Gardens in Columbia, Tennessee.
