Mr. James Allen Simmons, 45, died Friday, October 22, 2004 at his residence on Mapleash Ave. in Columbia.
Funeral services for Mr. Simmons will be conducted Monday, October 25, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Allen Armstrong officiating. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of the late Clifford Wilson and Martha Leona Willbanks Simmons. He was a carpenter for Southern Restorations in Pulaski.
He is survived by a daughter, RaeAnne Simmons of Columbia; a son, Jason Allen Simmons of Columbia; a sister, Vickey Lynn Redding of Franklin, TX; a brother, Clifford Perry Simmons of Columbia; companion of 14 years, Teresa E. Scroggins of Columbia; step-sons, Jason Pruitt and Jeff Charla Watson, both of Columbia; step-grandchldren, Haley Watson, Desiree Pruitt, Austin Pruitt and Dayton Pruitt, all of Columbia; several nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Chatman, Kenneth Halbrooks, Johnny Huckaby, Keith Huckaby, Narvel Wilbanks, Danny McDonald, Jimmy Lemay and employees of Southern Restoration.
