Jack Jenkins

Mr. Jack Lucas Jenkins, age 74, of Nashville, passed away on Thursday, June 9, of natural causes at his home in Windsor Towers Condominium surviving more than 24 years following a successful heart transplant performed at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in 1992.
Jack, known by family and friends as "Bog Monster" was born on December 21st, 1941 in Franklin, TN
He was preceded in death by his wife: Mary Ann Harrison Jenkins and is survived by his children: Fred Lucas Jenkins and Mary Jacqueline Daniel and grandchildren: Jack Lucas Jenkins II, Lola Lucas Daniel, Evelyn Rose Daniel Graduate of Middle Tennessee State University and Vanderbilt University.
Jack worked for many years as a chemical engineer for Monsanto in Columbia, TN before relocating with his family to Nashville to expand his fuel distributorship, Fossil Fuels.
Visitation for Jack will be held Sunday, June 12 from 6PM to 9PM at the Greenhouse Bar 2211 Bandywood Drive, Nashville. Friends and family welcome for a casual celebration of Jack's life.
An intimate Graveside Service will be held at 10AM on Monday, June 13, at Polk Memorial Gardens at 6465 Trotwood Avenue Columbia, TN 38401.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association https://donatenow.heart.org/
