Mrs. Isabella Lara, age 59, resident of the Pulaski Pike in Columbia, passed away Sunday, February 22, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lara will be conducted Tuesday, February 24 at 5:00 PM in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Chuck Westra officiating.
The family will visit with friends on Tuesday from 3:00 – 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Born in Newport News, VA, she was the daughter of the Robert C. Black and the late Mabel Ann Martinez. Isabella was the wife of Jose Lara. Before becoming disabled, Mrs. Lara had worked as a nursing technician. She was a member of Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church.
In addition to her husband, Isabella is survived by her children: Lori Lynn Klein of Watertown, William R. Zepeda of Thompson's Station, Jose Michael Lara of Mt. Pleasant, Victoria Isabella Lara of Cape Coral, FL and Josefina Medina of Columbia; grandchildren: Kenny, Mario, Maiya, Samantha, Brennan, Savannah and Robin; two sisters and one brother: June, Lisa and David. She is also survived by her lifelong friend, Bonnie rushing of Redmond, WA.
