Mrs. Irvie Lou Andrews Young Hardison, 104, died Sunday, September 5, 2004 at her residence on North Hardin Drive in Columbia..

Funeral services for Mrs. Hardison will be conducted Friday, September 10, 2004 at 3:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home of Columbia with Jerry Elder officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday and Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 p. m. at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Ben Andrews, Sr. and Emma Lee Hardison Andrews. Mrs. Hardison was first married to Willie Porter Young who died in 1975 and was later married to Lester Hardison who died in 1987. She was a homemaker and a member of the West Seventh Street Church of Christ.

Mrs. Hardison is survived by her grandchildren, Peggy John McCoy of Jackson, TN, James ?Jim? Allen Patsy Young of Columbia, TN, Rosemary Eddie King of Columbia, TN, Patsy Dave Coleman of Columbia, TN; great-grandchildren, Shawn Karen Bryan of Baltimore, MD, William Jennings Virgie of Yellow Stone National Park, Sarah Lee Young of Columbia, TN; a daughter in law, Mrs. James Porter Young Bacon of Columbia, TN.

She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Mrs. Linda David Gillenwater; five sisters, Edna Mae Langley, Miss Edwin Green, Mattie McMeen, Mamie Rawlins and Violet Sue Andrews; two brothers, Ben Andrews, Jr. and Bill Andrews; four children, Willy Porter Young, Jr., James Porter Young, Mrs. Irene Henry Dawson, and Charles Allen Young.

Pallbearers will be Harold Hutcherson, Buddy Andrews, Buddy Moore, Jimmy Wright, Wayne Holliday, Jerry Renfro, and Paul Fay.
