Mrs. Irene Nolan Wallace Warren, age 83, a resident of Trotwood Avenue, passed away on Monday, January 4, at her residence.
Funeral services for Mrs. Warren will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Tommy Culberson officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3:00 ? 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Born August 4, 1926 in the Mt. Joy Community of Maury County, Irene was the daughter of the late Johnny Nolan and Lela Fuller Nolen. She was the wife of Cecil Warren of Columbia whom she married on December 26, 1989. Irene was a graduate of Hay Long High School in Mt. Pleasant. She was a loving homemaker and a member of the Southside Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant.
Survivors in addition to her husband include her children: Billy Wallace of Alexandria, LA, Kathy "Booty" Maxwell, Judy Young and Bobby Judy Wallace, all of Columbia; sisters: Evelyn Craig of Louisville, KY, Dorothy Howard LeMay and Betsy Tommy Isabell, both of Mt. Pleasant; one brother: Wayne Nolan of Louisville, KY; grandchildren: Monica George of Pineville, LA, Kim Wallace, Chris Wallace, Jennifer Wallace and Michael Shonda Thomson, all of Columbia; four great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by a brother: John Willis Nolan.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Isabell, Michael Thomson, Arch Warren, Roy Warren, Chris Wallace and Shawn Isabell. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Southside Baptist Church.
