Mrs. Irene Gregg, age 97, a resident of Highland Ave., passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2009 at NHC Health Care in Dickson, TN.
Funeral services for Mrs. Gregg will be conducted 11:00 AM on Monday, January 5 at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Curtis Dowdy officiating. Burial will follow in the Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the funeral home.
Born in Hickman County, she was the daughter of the late John and Ida Snow Baker and the wife of the late Roy W. Gregg. She was a homemaker, a sitter for the elderly and one of the oldest and longtime members of Highland Church of Christ.
She is survived by a great grandniece: Michelle Donald Nicholson of White Bluff; a great grandnephew: Ryan Seay of White Bluff; great-great grandnephews: Derek Nicholson of White Bluff and Michael Seay of Greenbrier; great-great grandniece: Jennifer Seay of Greenbrier; several other nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
The family request memorials be made to the Highland Church of Christ Building Program.
