Inez Nobles Miller

September 13, 1912 — May 25, 2003

Mrs. Inez Nobles Miller, 90, a resident of Knud Drive in Columbia, died Sunday, May 25, 2003 at Life Care Center.

Graveside services for Mrs. Miller will be Tuesday May 27, 2003 at 3:00 P.M. at the Polk Memorial Gardens with Reverend Bob Vasser officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Williams Columbia Funeral Home.

The Aiken, South Carolina native was the daughter of the late William and Fannie Mae Nobles and the widow of Paul Lee Miller. Mrs. Miller was a homemaker and attended Pleasant Heights Baptist Church.

Mrs. Miller is survived by one daughter, Helen E. McClanahan of Columbia; one sister, Montine Jim Edwards of Georgia; two granddaughters, Kimberly Mark Thomason of Cookeville and Michele Chris Adcock of Campbellsville; two grandsons, Johnny Angie McClanahan of Santa Fe and Nathan Hanson of New York; nine great-grandchildren, Christopher Thomason, Paul Thomason, Jennifer Thomason, Hannah Adcock, Clara Adcock, Carter McClanahan, Lucas McClanahan, Westin McClanahan, and Lucas Hansen.

In addition to her parents and husband Mrs. Miller is preceded in death by one son, Richard Miller, one great-grandchild, Shawn Thomason, two brothers, Wyman and Barney Nobles, and one sister, Thelma Anderson.

Memorials may be made to the Pleasant Heights Baptist Church building fund.
