Ina Carol Black

Mrs. Ina Carol Black age 66, of Columbia, TN was called home to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday, February 3, 2013 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Ina Carol was born in Lawrence County on February 13, 1947 to the late H.M. Boswell and Rosa Mae Buie Boswell. In 1961 she married James ”Jack” B. Black who preceded her in death on March 2, 2010 after 49 years of marriage. Ina Carol was of the Pentecostal faith. She was a loving caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, she would do absolutely anything for anyone. She especially loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and cherished every special moment spent with them.
Survivors include her children, Tammy Hidalgo of Lewisburg, Jackie (Jere Cecil) Plant of Mt. Pleasant, Phillip Black of Columbia, Jason Black of Columbia; Grandchildren: Crystal Black, Bradley Butler, Joshua Plant, Jere W. Plant, Tara Plant Morton, Megan Black, Tabitha Black, Max Black; Eleven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Special friend and companion of two years Mr. Ron Powers Sr. and Sisters Rachel Ketchum, Martha Thurman, Lavern Fulmer, and best friend, Carol Jacoby.
She was preceded in death by parents H.M. and Rosa Boswell, beloved husband James “Jack” B. Black, daughter Brenda Faye Butler, brothers John, Calvin, William and Ernest Boswell and sister Lucy Brown.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
