Hunter Preston Scott, age 25, of Columbia, Tennessee passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018.
Hunter was born in Columbia, Tennessee on February 14, 1993 to Carlton and Suzanne Scott. He was a class of 2012 graduate from Columbia Central High School and later Columbia State Community College. Hunter was an Eagle Scout in Troop 103; his leaders were his Dad, Carlton Scott and Mark Mayberry. Hunter was a hard working individual; within his life he was dedicated to work and in his short time he worked for two companies. He was a jewelry associate at JCPenney at the Columbia Mall and most recently was the store manager and event coordinator for Advance Financial in Bellevue.
Hunter had a heart of gold; he showed love to everyone. He excelled at anything he did; some of his favorite hobbies included adventure rock climbing and white water rafting. His family fondly remembers Hunter as the best son and brother in the world. He will truly by missed by his family and all those who knew and loved him.
Hunter is survived by his parents: Carlton and Suzanne Scott; sister: Jessica Scott-McClure; grandmother: Nancy C. Scott; special friend: Krysi Anderson and son, Grayson Cole Anderson as well as his aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather: Carl V. Scott and maternal grandparents: Wallace and Opal Mayberry.
The Scott family will visit with friends and family on Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Hunter’s Uncle, Don Mayberry officiating.
