Mr. Hughie Chester Hazard, 74, a resident of Gardendale Drive in Columbia, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at his home.
Funeral services for Mr. Hazard will be conducted
Friday, August 18, 2006 at 1:00 p m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Reverend Don Smith and Reverend David Gleyze officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Born in Bristol, TN, he was the son of the late Arthur and Nannie Mae Eaton Hazard and husband of Shirley Rouse Hazard. Mr. Hazard was a retired manager from Revco Drug Store in Columbia and a member of the Temple Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by five sons, Larry Dolores Hazard of Tampa, Fl, Terry Bambi Hazard of Thompson Station, Steve Vicki Hazard, Kevin Lesli Hazard and Jeff Karen Hazard all of Columbia; one brother, Don Barbara Hazard of Birmingham, AL; grandchildren, Ben Stevie Hazard, Allison David Kaeshoefer, Angela Hazard, Parker Hazard, Caroline Hazard, Thomas Hazard, Rebecca Hazard and Andrew Hazard.; great grandson, Dylan Woodward; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Hazard.
Pallbearers will be Ben Hazard, David Kaeshoefer, Parker Hazard, Paul Roderick, Jeff Brumlow and Adam R0derick
