Hugh Reed Orr

Hugh Reed Orr, 91, formerly of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away at The Pavilion Nursing Home in Lebanon, Tennessee, on Thursday, March 21, 2013.
Hugh was an auto parts salesman at R.H. Chilton Company. He was the son of the late Lowry Orr and Ada Pickens Orr. Mr. Orr was a member of the Craft Memorial Methodist Church in Columbia.
A graveside service will be held for Mr. Orr Monday, March 25, in Bear Creek Cemetery at 3:30 PM. Visitation for family and friends will be Monday, March 25 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant.
Survivors for Hugh Orr include: His wife, Geneva Orr; One daughter, Carolyn (James) Light of Daphne, AL; Two sons, Charles (Lois) Orr of Mt. Juliet, TN and Lowery “Joe” (Martha) Orr of Oakland, TN; Four granddaughters, Lori Orr, Cyndi Morgan, Sherry Orr, and Allison Kelley; Two grandsons, Kenny Orr and Jonathan Light; six great-grandchildren also survive him. Mr. Orr was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers along with his parents.
Pallbearers will be: Jonathan Light, Kenny Orr, Chuck Kelley, Mitch Morgan, Jerry Wright, and Aubrey Flagg. The Fellowship Class of Craft Memorial Church in Columbia will serve as honorary pallbearers.
