Hubert Harold Lee

Mr. Hubert Harold Lee, 79 , a resident of Chestnut Drive in Columbia, died Wednesday, October 20, 2004 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mr. Lee will be conducted Friday, October 22, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at the Williams Funeral Home of Columbia with Jack White officiating. Burial will be in the Jones Cemetery with military honors being provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post #19. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of the late Rains and Myrtle Moore Lee. He was the husband of Virginia Ann Curry Lee. Mr. Lee was a retired farmer and a former employee of Colonial Bread Company in Nashville, TN. He served during the Korean Conflict in the United Stated Army and was a member of the Church of Christ.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Trudy Gary Landers of Culleoka, TN and Shirley Lamar Dees of Conyers, GA; grandchildren, Darran Cates, Joshua Cates, Amber Cates all of Columbia, TN; a great-grandson, Dayton Cates of Columbia, TN; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Ruby Lee Brown, Virginia Lee Byrd and Johnnie Mae Trousdale; three brothers, Rains Marshall Lee, Jr., Roy Foster Lee and J. C. Lee.
Pallbearers will be Norman Brown, Jimmy Byrd, Harry Byrd, J.W. Byrd, Danny Byrd and Darran Cates.
