Howard Lee Yerkey, born on March 28th, 1960, in Norfolk, Virginia, passed away on March 29th, 2024, in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was the beloved son of Brooks Yerkey and Lottie Belle Yerkey. Lee was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Yerkey. Their marriage was filled with joy from 1981 to her death in 1995. Lee's life journey was filled with love, passion, and unforgettable moments.

Lee's musical talent was a defining feature of his life. As a drummer in the Tootsie Orchid Loungers alongside his father, Brooks Yerkey, from 1981 to 2005, he brought joy and rhythm to countless audiences. His music resonated with people, creating lasting memories that will endure far beyond his time on this earth.
