Howard Lee "Bubba" Fautt

Howard “Bubba” Lee Fautt Jr., age 50, of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on March 17, 2016, at his residence.

Bubba was born May 9, 1965 in Maury Co., the son of Margie Ann Lemay Fautt of Columbia and the late Howard Lee “Poochie” Fautt, Sr.

A true boy of the south is how Bubba’s family describes him. He loved to fish, the rebel flag, and loved wolves. Bubba had a big heart and was full of kindness toward everyone he met. Even though he spent the past sixteen years confined to a chair, it never changed his sweet disposition. His beliefs were Church of Christ and his favorite pastime was spending time with his family, friends, and his dog Rebel. Bubba also loved to watch NASCAR and wrestling.

Survivors in addition to his mother include four sisters, Glenda (Rodney) Thomas of Linden, Elizabeth “Sissy” Fautt of Columbia, Wanda (Mark) Pitts of Columbia and Laurie Day of Columbia; one niece, Tiffany Ann Thomas of Mt. Pleasant and one nephew, Anthony George of Lewisburg; two great-nephews, Gabriel Lee Leonard of Mt. Pleasant and Thomas Hayes Harris of Mt. Pleasant; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral service will be held on Monday March 21, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Bradley Dugger and Shawn Jeffries officiating. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends on Sunday March 20, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Chad Black, Anthony George, Trenton McDeavitt, Mark Pitts, Kenneth Pitts, and Chris Grissom. Honorary pallbearers will be Sammy Dillehay, Billy Ray Dillehay, David Faught, Larry Arbuckle and Clayton Harris, Jr.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorials be made to Williams Funeral Home.
