Howard Marshall “Hotshot” Scruggs, age 78, of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018 at his residence, surrounded by his loving wife and family.
Howard was born on March 3, 1939 in Trousdale County, Tennessee to Henry and Nora Blackwell Scruggs. He was married to Ruby Joyce Scruggs. He loved his community and veterans as well, volunteering each year for many years, along with Joyce to provide the sound equipment and expertise to make the Memorial Day Commemoration special at Polk Memorial Gardens. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
