Herbert Elgan Cole

Mr. Herbert Elgan Cole, age 91, a resident of Alpine Drive passed away on Monday at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral service for Mr. Cole will be conducted Thursday at 11:30 A.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Brother Tol Burk officiating. Burial will follow in the Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 4:00 ? 8:00 P.M at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of the late Arthur Cole and Ivy Lunn and the widower of Mary Shires Cole. He was a supervisor for Davis Equipment Company and was of Methodist Faith.
He is survived by a son: Guerry Barbara Cole of Columbia; grandsons: Rodney Cole of West Palm Beach, FL, Ryan Cole of Baton Rough, LA and Bryan Cole of Columbia; one brother: Harlan Cole of Atlanta, GA; three sisters: Polly Burgess of Savannah, TN, Audrey Flory of Greenville, OH and Edith Shelton of Columbia, TN. He was preceded in death by one brother: Tommy Cole.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and family members.
