Mr. Henry "Hank" Terry, age 71, a resident of Elyria, OH, Columbus, OH, Columbia, TN and most recently Spring Hill, TN passed away Friday, February 11, 2011 at his residence.

Born December 3, 1939 in Elyria, OH, son of the late Lily Cook and step-father, Jack Cook and the son of the late Englon Terry. He was the husband of Edivia Hernandez Terry in September 1974 in Lorain, OH. Hank was very involved in the community as he was the co-chairman of Maury County Family Rodeo for ten years, life time board member for the Crisis Pregnancy Center, member of the YMCA board for three years, co-founder of the 'We Build People Program", a big brother for two years, co-chairman of the Columbia State Community College Scholarship Fund, co-founder and First Counsel for the Columbia Squires-boys leadership program, started a "Adopt A Family Program, chairman of the Habitat for Humanity House, coach for the Columbia Girls Travel Soccer Team for two years and a religious teacher for ten years. Hank was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church in Columbia, TN. He served in the United States Air Force. Hank was a proud recipient of the Knights of Columbus Hero Award.

In addition to his wife, Hank is survived by two sons: Andrew Terry and David Sepulveda; six grandchildren: Sierra, Cheyenne, Hannah, Isaiah, Elijah and Jonah; nine brothers and sisters: Gertrude Morrissey, William Terry, Richard Terry, Eileen Collison, Daud Rashad, Pat Terry, Phyllis Grant, Linda Ewing and Betty Bohannon; dear friends: Cordell Butler, William Washington and Lilly Mahone.

A Celebration of Life service for Mr. Terry will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at St. Catherine Catholic Church with Father Davis Chackaleckel officiating.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia.

Donations may be made in his name to either Inclusion Body Myositis Research or Big Brothers/Big Sister of Maury County.
