Helen Walls Luther

Mrs. Helen Walls Luther, 54, a resident of Hoover Mason Lane in Mt. Pleasant died Saturday, November 29, 2003 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mrs. Luther will be conducted Tuesday December 2, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Reverend Marty Potts officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Davidson County native was the daughter of the late Wilkey and Amma Brewer Walls. She was the wife of Mark Luther of Mt. Pleasant, TN. She was former owner of Luther?s Truck Rental & manager of Southeastern Storage Company in Columbia. She was an avid bowler and member of the Pentecostal faith.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Teresa Tom Young of Smyrna, TN, Melissa Reed and Lisa Rogers both of Columbia, TN; a son, Houston Burkett; two sisters, Agnes Thompson of Centerville, TN and Brenda McAhaney of Chicago, IL; three granddaughters, Heather Jones of Smyrna, TN, Kayla Eastep and Kimberly Eastep both of Hohenwald, TN; three best friends, Patty Johnson, Helen McClain and Lana Turner all of Columbia, TN.
She was preceded in death by a son, Harlan Burkett.
Pallbearers will be Jim Young, Myles Scribner, Mark Waldrop, Lane Davis, Mike Ransom and Billy Salrin.
