Helen Waddell Mckenzie

Mrs. Helen Marie ?Nana? Waddell Mitchell McKenzie, 96, a resident of Shenandoah Drive in Columbia, died at home, Sunday, December 28, 2003.
A memorial service for Mrs. McKenzie will be conducted Friday, January 2, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Reverend Martin Nutter officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. McKenzie was born in Regina Saskatchewan, Canada to the late Grant and Marie Underwood Waddell. She was the widow of Thomas McKenzie and was first married to Charles Dawson Mitchell who died August 9, 1962. Mrs. McKenzie was a long time resident of the Plymouth-Canton area in Michigan. She attended Trinity Episcopal Church in Belleville, MI and enjoyed crafts along with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Beryl Kenneth Brandt of Gaylord, MI and Doreen William Huff of Columbia, TN; ten Grandchildren, fifteen Great-grandchildren several nieces and nephews; three step-children and their families. Proceeding Mrs. McKenzie in death were her son, Peter Mitchell who died in May 1997, a sister, Mabel Kelly; two brothers, William Waddell and Grant Waddell.
Memorials may be made to Leukemia Multiple Myloma Research Foundation 3 Forest Street New Canaan, CT 06840 in honor of Kenneth Brandt.
