Mrs. Helen Lorene Kelley Barnes
Mrs. Helen Lorene Kelley Barnes, age 73, resident of Somerville, AL, passed away on Saturday, December 6, at her residence.
Funeral services for Mrs. Barnes will be conducted Monday at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Brother Donald Dark and Brother Johnny Tomlin. Burial will follow in the Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Dewey and Leecy Potts Kelley. She was the wife of Bobby Barnes of Somerville, AL. She was a member of Austinville Church of Christ in Decatur, AL.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters: Teresa Doyle Rochester of Somerville, AL, and Kathy Bob Davidson of Tulare, CA: her grandchildren: Chris Lori Rochester and Kelley Rochester both of Somerville, AL, Steven Davidson and Scott Davidson both of L.A. CA great-grandchildren: Mackinley Rochester and Dawson Rochester both of Somerville, AL; Sisters and brother: Minnie Barnes, Clyde Jean Kelley and Linda Roger Hill all of Columbia. She was preceded in death by two brothers: J.C. Kelley and Billy Kelley.
Pallbearers will be Roy Barnes, Robert Barnes, Jason Kelley, Shannon Kelley, Michael Pilkinton and Bill Barnes.
Memorials may be made to the Austinville Church of Christ Building Fund in Decatur, AL, 2833 Danville Road S.W., Decatur, AL 35603.
