Mrs. Helen Cary Gordon, 38, resident of Mapleash Avenue, died Friday, April 12, 2002, in Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mrs. Gordon will be conducted Monday at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Lee Spears officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 ? 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
She was a native of Lansing Michigan, the wife of John Gordon of Columbia and the daughter of Delbert and Geraldine Cary of Culleoka formally of Bath, Michigan. She was employed by Kasbar National Industries Inc.
In addition to her husband and parents she is survived by one step-daughter; Nicole Gordon of Lewisburg; one step-son Brian Gordon of Shelbyville; one brother, Ken Debbie Cary of Culleoka and one grandfather, Irvin Solomon, of Bay City Michigan as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and very special friends, Marty and Pam Strobel, and Catha Burris.
Pallbearers will be William Thompson, Eddie Hensley, Marty Strobel, J. B. Hartley, Johnny Higgason and Paul Maidia.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
