Helen Geneva Foster-Rogers

September 16, 1941 — April 10, 2010

Mrs. Helen Geneva Rogers, age 68, a resident of Clearwater Drive in Nashville, passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2010, at Alive Hospice in Nashville.

A funeral mass for Mrs. Rogers will be conducted Monday at 2:00 P.M. at St. Catherine Catholic Church with Father Davis Chackaleckel officiating. Entombment will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens Chapel Mausoleum.

The family will visit with friends on Monday from 10:00 A.M. ? 12:00 noon at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia.

The Nashville native was born September 16, 1941, the daughter of the late Malcolm Henry Foster and Ruby Crouch Foster Teal of Manchester, TN. She was the wife of Jerry Kenneth Rogers of Nashville. Geneva was retired as a house mother with the Tennessee School For The Blind. She was a loving mother, wife and grandmother and was a member and communicant of St. Catherine Catholic Church.

Survivors in addition to her husband include her children: Thomas Cathy Wochna of Culleoka; Karen Bill McCoy of Brentwood, Mary Nell Randall Lee of Spring Hill, Teresa Paul Ludington of Rochester, NY, Shelia Rusty Oliver of Atlanta, GA and Sherry Denny Lammers of Nashville; grandchildren: Alex, Logan, and Conner Wochna, Shawn and Shannon Wilcher, Jessica and Rebecca Wochna, Gillian, Cameron and Fallon McCoy, Amanda Michael Lippelt, Liz Alan Heinz, Dan Kristen Ludington, Katherine Ludington, Josh, Joey, Blake and Chris Oliver, Jarrett and Jaclyn Jones; 3 great-grandchildren; three sisters: Naioma Foster Keeling, Billie Foster Billy Earls, Jane Foster Wimberley and one brother: Mike Betrtha Foster, all of Manchester; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be Greg Keeling, Pat Keeling, Jeff Thomas, Keith Winberley, Kevin Wimberley and Michael Foster.

Special thanks to the nurses and staff of Alive Hospice.
