Hattie Scott

Hattie Scott, 77, of Duffield, VA, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2025.

Hattie found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially spending time outdoors and tending to her beautiful flower garden. A devoted homemaker, she created a warm and loving home for her family, always offering kindness and care to those around her.

She is survived by her children, Barbara Miller and Jack Scott; her sister, Sandra Tipton. She was a grandmother to three grandchildren and a cherished great-grandmother to three great-grandchildren. Hattie also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Toby and Mae Moore. Her sister, Cora Lee Moore and brothers, Ellis Moore and Otis Moore.

A graveside service to honor Hattie's life will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Ebenezer Cemetery.
